(G1=Sleep)
Narrator ?:  This is the story of BIS boys and girls. 
Early in the morning, the grade 1’s awoke (G1=act) to the sound of a Christmas carol 

G1 ?:   “Listen~! 

(G1=listening pose) 

 Sound of Christmas~!!” 

Narrator ?: they said.  

Narrator ?:  They were so excited (G1=act excited) 

that they decided to follow the sound (G1=point to their left).  

Narrator ?: They jumped out of bed (G1=jump), 

Narrator ?:  washed their face (G1=wash), 

Narrator ?: brushed their teeth (G1=brush), 

Narrator ?:  and out they went (G1=point to their left.).   

But... Oops (G1=Freeze), 

G1 ?:   ‘Shall we go back to get changed?’  

                                   (G1=Act=Thinking motion!)

and kept walking  (G1=march) towards the sound of Christmas. 

Narrator ?:   They marched the whole way, 

their big smiles (G1=give biggest smile ever!) gleaming in the sun.  

Narrator ?:  Finally, they arrived! 
Narrator ?: They were standing in front of a beau~~~~tiful concert hall. (G1=stop)  
Narrator ?:   They were so excited (G1=act excited) 

They hurrayed (G1=Hurray) 

Narrator ?:  and high-fived each other.  (G1=high five) "

Narrator ?:  When they were about to step into the beau~~~~tiful concert hall (G1=step in motion), 

they were stopped (G1=freeze), 

by the man at the ticket counter.  

Doorman ?:  "Wait a minute!" 

Grade 1:   “Yes, Sir~?”

Doorman ?: You need a ticket to get in! 

Grade 1:   “A What?!”

Doorman ?: A ticket!

G1 ?:   “But, we do not have any money.”

Doorman ?: Then you cannot come in!

Grade 1:   “For crying out loud,”   

Narrator ?:  Grade 1s bellowed as they left the concert hall.
(sit down looking sad)

Narrator ?:   Meanwhile, in the concert hall…
(play bg music)
Beau~~~tiful music resounded…
(Act like you're trying to catch the faint sound from far away.)

Narrator ?:  They were sad.   Looking very sad, they started to sing                                  a song. 

(G1 Action = As the song ends, everyone's head down)

Narrator ?:  But! they were not going to stay sad! 
(G1 Action = head up!)
Grade 1s were in the mood for the Christmas concert.

Narrator ?:   Since they could not get into the concert hall, they decided to put on their own concert. 

(G1 Zoe, Yujin, Chloe jump up, excited)

Line 1:  "Hey, guys! Let's make our own concert!"

(Line 3 stand up, excited and speak!)

Line 3: "Great idea!"

(Line 2 stand up, and speak):
Line 2: "Do you guys remember the songs we learned at school?"

Narrator ?:  So they thought very, very hard for a long, long time.
(sit down to think)

Narrator ?:  30 minutes passed.  (tick tock tick tock)

                           1 hour passed,  (tick tock tick tock)

                           and 2 hours passed.   (tick tock tick tock)

Narrator ?:  Still, they couldn’t remember the rhythms they learned from the music class.  

Grade 1:  Uh oh~~~

Narrator ?:  So, grade 1 decided to get help from the upper grade.

Grade 1:  “Hey~ Grade 5”

Grade 1:  “Help us~”    

Narrator ?:  Out they came, Grade 5

Grade Older ?:  “Yes, cutie pies~”

G1-Line 3:  “Excuse me!  Cutie Pies?!”  

Narrator ?:  Grade 1s looked offended. 

G1-Line 3:  “We are not babies!  

G1-Line 2:  We are the grade 1s 

G1-Line 1:  who rock in our school shoes!”

G1 Line 3:  “Don’t call us cute, 

G1 Line 2, 1:  ‘cause we are cool”

Grade 5:  “Yes, yes, You are right.  You are the cool grade 1s.”

Grade 5:  “So..What can I help you with?”  

Grade 1: (hesitant)

"Well, the thing is…"

Narrator Rowun: 

"We're trying to put on a concert, but we can't remember…" (G1 students shrug their shoulders)

"…anything we learned in our music class." (G1 students gesture, moving their right hand with one finger from the center to the right)

Grade 5:  “Oh yes, I can help you with that. 

Narrator Yoohyun:  G5 said, 

Grade 5:   You probably remember singing this from your class.  

Grade 5:   Who is worthy of our praise?

Grade 1:  “Our God! 
                Lord, I lift Your Name on high!”

G1 Line 3: But I wish we had one more song.  

G1 Line 2, 1:  Do you know any other songs we can play?

G1 Rowen:  I used to know lots of fun songs when I was a young boy….

G1 Yujin: Yeah, when I was a young girl, 

G1 Zoe, Chloe:  I used to sing many fun songs with my mom…

Narrator Rowun:   So when you were a young girl, 

Narrator Yoohyun: When you were a young boy,

Narrator Yoohyun & Rowun:  What did you sing with your mom?

G1 Zoe, Yujin, Chloe:  Well, my mom and I used to sing this song, 

Grade 1:  We Wish You a Merry Christmas

G1 Zoe, Chloe: I love the excitement and joy of Christmas!  

G1 Yujin: Let us rejoice~!  Hava Nagila~!

Grade 1 + Narrators: Hava Nagila!

Zoe, Yujin, Chloe:  “Our concert is great~!” 

G1 Line 3: “Now that we have great music, 

G1 Line 2:  For whom shall we play our music?  

G1 Line 1:  We need the audience!”

Narrator Yoohyun:  “Well, You know it’s Christmas time...  But many of us forget the original meaning of Christmas.  

Narrator Rowun:  Christmas is the day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, to remember how much God loves us.”

G1 Line 3: Well, we love our God, too!

G1 Line 2: We will sing for you God!  You are worthy of our praise!

G1 Line 1:  Not only that, we will follow our Savior Jesus Christ!

Grade 1: Every Move I make, it’s for you, God!

G1 Line 2:  For God so loved the world 

G1 Line 1:  that He gave his one and only son, 

Narrator Rowun:   that whoever believes in him will have eternal life!

Grade 1:  Thank you, Jesus!  

Grade 1:  We love you!~

Narrator Yoohyun:  The BIS students sang with all their hearts, 

Narrator Rowun: :  all their minds. 

Narrator Yoohyun:  and all their strength to 

Narrator Rowun & Yoohyun:   praise their God.
